AUD’s ArchEatable Competition

AUD’s ArchEatable Competition

The American University in Dubai’s Architecture Department at the SAAD presents “archEatable, A journey through architecture and patisserie,” an innovative course given by Professor Jose Carrilo. This course exposes students to advanced knowledge in digital design and fabrication by establishing a cross relationship between architecture and pastry making.

This Wednesday, December 19th at 7pm in Dubai’s Design District the finalists will present their designs to a panel of jurors that includes esteemed chefs and professors from various professional backgrounds. Each student presentation will be paired with an on-going video of the progress and production of the cakes, documented by students from the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Communication. The winner of the competition will receive a certificate of participation and a trophy for the “archEatable Best Cake Award 2018.”

Come and join us at the competition to witness the meeting of architecture and pastry art!
