Dubai Business School Continues with its 10-years AACSB Accreditation

The Dubai Business School at University of Dubai (DBS-UD) announced that the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has extended its accreditation for another five years. With this announcement, DBS would have the privilege of having had 10-years accreditation by this prestigious American and International Accreditation Association.

Caryn L. Beck-Dudley, Chair, AACSB International Board of Directors congratulated Dubai Business School and stated that “it is our pleasure to inform you that the Peer Review Team’s recommendation for extension of accreditation of the business degree programs offered by your school has been concurred with by the Continuous Improvement Review Committee and ratified by the Board of Directors.”

Dr. Eesa Bastaki, UD president, thanked the AACSB Board of Directors and congratulated the School for its continuous achievements in delivering quality education through its BBA, MBA and PhD programs.

The Dean of the Dubai Business School, Professor Amr Mortagy, said that the School is proud to be recognized by AACSB, the highest international recognition a Business School university can obtain. He added: “We are committed to providing our students with a world-class education.” He added that with this recognition, we are now one of the 5% business schools that have this accreditation worldwide. Other international schools that have earned this prestigious accreditation include Harvard Business School, London Business School and others.

The Dubai Business School programs offer a solid foundation in knowledge and a hands-on learning experience for students. It also utilizes experiential learning, case studies and simulations in all its classes.
