Jazan University Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al-Hazmi inaugurated the event to observe International Teacher’s Day, organized by the College of Education. The slogan for the event was “Teacher in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom 2030” and it was conducted at Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hall, Community College, Abu Arish.
The Dean of College of Education, Dr. Khalid Bin Hussein Mokli, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and gratitude to every teacher who is sincere and faithful in educating the members of society. He also reviewed the great educational role played by the teacher through the generations and his contribution to the future of the country.
Then, the Vice President for Academic Affairs inaugurated the event with a speech in which he praised the role of teachers in building generations. He stressed the interest of the President of the University in all the efforts that would lead to the development of the educational process.
The first session was entitled “The Teacher between the Education Policy and the Vision of the Kingdom 2030”, which was presided by Dr. Misfer bin Jibran Al-Raaf’ah, Prof. Dr. Wael bin Abdulrahman Al-Tal and the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Dr. Hadi Bin Zaafir Kariri. The second session was entitled “Preparation of Special Education Teacher in the light of the Vision of the Kingdom 2030”, in which Dr. Issa bin Ali Al-Adhabi and Dr. Mohammad Kamal Abu Al-Fatouh spoke and the session was moderated by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Ali Bin Mohammed Zakri.
