His Royal Highness Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz, Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Higher Hajj Committee, and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, chaired the meeting of the Supervisory Committee in his office at the Ministry of Interior, in Riyadh.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness was shown a documentary about the institute and its achievements. After that, His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and a member of the Supervisory Committee of the Institute, Dr. Muhammad bin Salih Benten, reviewed the strategic plan of the institute, which is in line with the vision of the Kingdom 2030, and corresponds with the duties of the Royal Commission of the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites.
At the end of the meeting, a number of resolutions were adopted which will contribute to support the progress of the institute.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Interior, Dr. Nasir bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Dawud, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations, Colonel General Sa`id bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, His Excellency the Director of Public Security, Colonel General Khalid bin Qarar Al-Harbi, His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, Mr. Muhammad bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Sami bin Yasin Brahmin, and the Vice Dean of the Institute for Research Projects, Dr. Mazin Al-Shamarani.
